Facilities

Clubrooms

The Club operates from a combined clubroom and hangar jointly owned with the Northland Coastguard Air Patrol. It has its own carpark, kitchen, large deck and un-licenced bar area. The clubrooms are regularly used by groups such as CAA (for the AvKiwi aviation seminars), Triple 1 First Aid (for practical first aid training), and by several local activity groups.

The clubrooms are available for private functions by arrangement. User the Contact Form for more information.

Training Rooms

For flight instruction the Club has dedicated training rooms that are designed for personal instructing through to groups of six. Larger groups are handled in the main clubroom area.

Simulator Room

As a secondary flight instruction facility the Club has a room dedicated to running a computers-based flight simulator system. New students and old can take advantage of this ‘no-cost’ method to hone the procedures before taking to the air.
